I'm a new rider and I have multiple bike syndrome already
I just went and checked out my "friends" list and a thought occured to me. How can we call people friends when we don't communicate? Isn't that like being married??
I have a "Loonatic" friend, doesn't everyone? I have a friend that I can't pronounce "kpwww", I need VOWELS woman!! Some of my friends post blogs, jokes and comments that I get on board with but again, that isn't really communicating. I send little notes to some, mostly warning them I have used their names in postings, in fun of course, snicker, snicker(fortunately they have a sense of humour). There are even some I log on to see what they have been up to, read their profiles and whatever they have written, cool people I think. I miss Tracers blogs from when Kyle was away, she's better looking. We have women riders who have posted their pictures(daring souls) and my comment was "wow". They didn't seem offended or harassed, some even said thank you(if they ever knew what I was really thinking, ouch).
Some of those friends who so openly welcomed me to CC have not signed on in over four months, now that's a shame. Wonder if I scared them away? I do check, could be stalking, snooping or maybe just curious. In some cases, stalking fits.
If you have "friends" you really have an interest in, let them know especially so they know that they are not just an add on to a ever growing collection like trophys.
In Yosemite Uwe and I had the pleasure of meeting one of CC's members. It was great chatting with him and saying "hello" to his wife!! gotta love our members!
My buddy Mike let me borrow his bike! i wanna keep it...
It's a Bee! he wanted to get all warm and fuzzy in my helmet with me :)

This was my first long ride and on a new bike. It was a 2003 Harley Sportster. The road was HWY 88. it was beautiful!
Hello Cruisers,
This morning the weather was sooo beautiful in San Ramon, I had to ride to work!
After a nice day at the office I headed to the 24 fitness club for a quick workout.
This was the first time I had ridden to the gym and in a bit of a rush I pulled straight into the motorcycle parking.
After my workout I was chatting on the phone with my friend Aprilo (new rider on the community) and realized that a car had blocked the motorcycle parking and I would need to back out. Sounds easy, but there was a larger than normal speed bump behind my bike. I quickly got off the phone and was waiting for a strong looking guy to help give me a push. A nice guy by the name of Mark walked over and said "nice bike". So we starting chatting about bikes, what he rides and I asked him if he has heard of Cruiser Customizing? He said "yes" and that he had bought many accessories from CC. I asked him if he was on the community, and he said "no not really". I told him, "It's the greatest group of bikers out there on the web and we would all love to meet him on the Community!" I gave him a card and he said "I'll go check it out".
He gladly helped me move my bike, gave some words of wisdom and I was one my way!
Hopefully we'll see him on the community soon!
Thanks CC for bring the cool Bikers together!
Ride Safe,
Tracers
What's up Community!?
In short... "The Alps were AMAZING!"
It has been a while and I must say I have really missed you all! Today is my first day back from the other side of the world... and I must say the trip was Amazing! I am sorry I was not able to post video and photo's or comments from the road as Internet was very tough to find! When possible, I updated facebook, but that ability was few and far between as well...
Now... I have over 3,000 photos and over 100 Gigabytes of Video to sort, play with, and share here with all of you!
Over the past weeks I have been able to see sights and ride roads I thought only existed in my dreams! But... now I know... perfect roads do exist... in Europe! Thousands of km's (miles to the rest of us) of perfect roads with the most specular views!
Over the next couple weeks I will be sharing with you adventures from the trip.
In short, this is what the trip consisted of...
8/23/2009 I boarded the airplane here in San Francisco California and flew to Chicago where I boarded the plane which delivered me to the Frankfurt, Germany Airport Monday afternoon.
8/24/2009 I was greeted at the airport my Uwe999 and Tracers! We fetched my luggage, loaded the car, and headed to the motorcycle shop to pick up my rental. Upon arrival at the shop I laid my eyes on a beautiful Black
Kawasaki GTR 1400. Sweet! Uwe's bike was just coming out of service... so we sent Tracy on her way (in the car) and we took the bikes for the "long way home" visiting some sweet motorcycle roads. -- Hey! We had to break in the new tires... right? Upon arrival at Uwe's house, I was welcomed with open arms and a delicious BBQ! Wow.... Tasty! By the end of the night... I was sooooo tired I could hardly keep my eyes open!
8/25/2009 we woke and loaded the car so we could drop Tracers off at the airport. Sad times for sure! Once dropped off, we headed back to the house to clean, pre-trip inspection, and load the bikes for the morning departure.
8/26/2009 we (Uwe, Achiem, and I) saddled up and rode over to Thomas' house where we meet up with Machine. The five of us then took off to ride some of the best German roads in their area. The five of us road for the 26th and the 27th .... what a great time we had!
8/27/2009 to 9/4/2009 Uwe and I set off to conquer the French Alps! In the process, we rode the Alps in France, Italy, Switzerland, and Monaco. Every single day offered superb riding, awesome views, great food, and the meeting of neat neat people.
9/2/2009 was one of the trips best days as we got to meet for lunch and a ride with of Luuna800!
What a pleasure! After leaving, Lunna800 sent me a fun text message: "Yesterday my mother passed us on the road and it's funny... she asked me, "Where did you go? Who are they?" I just said, "Just 2 nice American guys mum I meet on a great website." Thanks again Luuna800 for your time, it was a pleasure. PioneerGirl and FreeBear, I have a video for you I will shortly post...
Okay... I need to get this posted and get back to work work... but stay tuned for all of the upcoming stories and videos from the Alps Adventure!
While the trip was Amazing... It's Great to be back home!

Uwe and Tracy meet me at the Frankfurt Airport on the afternoon of September 24th, and we stopped along the way to pick up the Kawasaki GTR I would be riding for next two weeks. Following the trip to the bike shop, we headed to the house for a super BBQ. The next day we cleaned the bikes, made our pretrip inspections... and the following morning we are on the road and ready to ride!
