You can see the chrome filter cover just peeping over the exhaust pipe there. I was a bit worried that all that chrome might look out of place on my black bike, but I think it looks really nice down there. One thing I was worried about was people said that the area which was covered by the vanity plate with the YAMAHA logo would look bad because it was under the plate. A little bit of Mr Sheen (Aussie furniture polish) and it came up like there was never anything there [image]   You can see the hoses in the picture (right). I was initially worried that they would not fit because when I held it against the bike I could not see how they would. I bought the normal length hoses that came with the kit, but they fit perfectly as you can see. [image]The oil filter itself is tucked up under the front. Hopefully, I'll be placing an order next month for a bunch of stuff to clean up the rear end of my bike - new indicators, brake light & license plate frame. Two today (Daylesford or Bendigo) and one on Sunday (with the Ulysses Club). Sunday was out because it's my wedding anniversary - some days you just gotta stay home. I wasn't going to go on a ride today because my wife is sick, but when I woke this morning it was such a beautiful day and the thought of being stuck at home really didn't appeal to me at all. I decided to go on the ride to Bendigo with the Melbourne Star Riders group because I have never ridden with these guys before and it was a great opportunity to meet them. It took about an hour to get from my house to Sunbury McDonalds where the ride was due to start. Once the guys had arrived, we headed off to Lancefield where we stopped for a warm drink and a smoke, and then on to Bendigo. Some great roads out that way, and apart from one stupid cager who wanted to play Mad Max with us it was a great run with not much traffic. We got into Bendigo at around 1pm. Sadly, I couldn't stay to go to the pie shop - apparently this shop makes the best pies. Besides the fact that I was full of the best wood-fired pizza EVER and had no room for pies, I had to head home as I had some things to do. It was a nice run back down the Calder to Melbourne - 110km/h most of the way and again not too much traffic. It really was a great day and a great ride - better than sitting at home for sure!
