V-Star 1300 - Cobra slip-on muffler - Part 5

To further explain the ability to change the scalloped tip direction, here is a pic showing the fasteners for the baffle (2 bolts furthest away from camera) and the 2 fasteners for the tip. Note the tip has 4 drilled holes (but only 2 used for fastening at any time) to enable the tip to be installed in whatever direction you like.

3 part video showing first a 2010 V-Star 1300 drilled stock pipe, followed by the new Cobra 4 inch slip-on BLV-2275 then followed by the same Cobra with the baffle now done with muffler wrapping.

V-Star 1300 - Cobra slip-on muffler - Part 4

Cobra kit as provided. Note the bracket is acccidentally upside down in this photo. I did not use the 2 larger shiny bracket bolts, as the original black one's looked much better against the black mounting bracket.

Note:

a. the now empty upper hole from the original bracket which unfortunately is not used by the Cobra bracket.  If you wish you could cut down your original bolt (and with a black washer) fill the empty spot.

b. that I used the 2 lower original bolts, which being black, blended in much better than the provided shiny bracket bolts provided by Cobra.

Vulcan 900 Cobra Chrome dash plaque fluted

Cobra dash plaque Chrome. Very nice addition to the bike, takes the logo away and the plain black boring part of the tank gets a facelift.

Not expensive, and very easy to install. I highly recommend it if you have a Vulcan 900
