New mirrors - Black Buckshot

Okay the Arlen Ness Mini-oval mirrors didn't work out, so went to my local HD dealer and got these really cool looking (and better seeing) mirrors. They are the Black Buckshot mirrors. I like em!

Fairing

Kuryakyn Sportech Fairing-Plus For Metric Cruisers

Searched for weeks, not finding a fairing that the seller would say yes  to a good fit for a M50 Suzuki 2009. If you are handy or know someone that can turn a wrench I suggest you look into this Fairing, fit was perfect and looked great when done, evon with the taller handle bar raisers.

Plate light bulb change

After changing break light into LED (with flashing effect, see my blog) I decided to change also a bulb for plate light. Usual LED bulbs were not bright enough or too big, so I ordered a panel of LEDs (12 5050 SMD LEDs), which is strong enough to replace stock bulb. Both shots were took with exactly the same place and same settings of camera.

Tail tidy for my Speed Triple 1 of 2

The aftermarket aluminium number plate bracket on my Triumph Speed Triple cracked through due to vibration. A replacement would have cost about $50. I made this one from a piece of 1.5mm galvanised steel plate lying around in my garage; multiple holes drilled to make it lighter. Etch primed and then painted with 3M, black, brake caliper paint. The painted bracket was baked in the family oven at 110 C for one hour. Paint is now hard as nails.
